Guide to Las Vegas Hotels

 Guide to Las Vegas Hotels

Best Hotels on the Las Vegas Strip

Most of the hotels on the Strip are really good. There are only a few budget hotels on Las Vegas Boulevard that sacrifice a bit of luxury, for the sake of offering lower prices

If you’re looking to stay at the best hotel, the more expensive properties (like the Wynn, Bellagio, Venetian, and Caesars Palace) are going to be your best bet. Just be aware, that you don’t have to stay at any top hotels to use many of their facilities. You can gamble at any resort for free without booking a room. All of the restaurants, nightclubs, spas, and shows are open to non-guests as well.

Las Vegas Hotels without Resort Fees

Las Vegas has hundreds of hotels, so it can be hard to choose the right one for your vacation. But before you book, you may want to consider staying at a property that doesn't have a resort fee.

Most Las Vegas hotels charge resort fees to offset the cost of amenities like Wi-Fi, pools, and housekeeping. However, these fees can add up to hundreds of dollars in expenses over the course of your vacation. Fortunately, there are a couple of hotels on the Strip that don't charge resort fees.

Hotels in Las Vegas with Heated and Indoor Pools

If you're visiting Vegas in the winter, you're going to want to stay at a resort with a heated pool. However, I was shocked to discover that many hotels close their swimming pools during the winter.

A lot of the information online regarding pools is outdating, so you're going to want to do your due diligence before you book. We made an updated list of all the hotels in Vegas that keep their pools open and heated during the winter season.

Best Hotels on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas

Fremont Street is a popular tourist destination in downtown Las Vegas for both tourists and locals alike. The most important reason why Fremont Street is so popular is the casinos. These casinos offer higher gambling odds and lower minimum table limits than the Strip casinos. You will also find hotel rooms that are significantly cheaper.

If you are looking for the best deal, I suggest either downtown Las Vegas or properties off of the Strip. The casinos at these resorts are more friendly to players. Many table games, such as craps and blackjack, have a lower house edge which increases your chances of winning. This is why Downtown casinos will have more locals.
