What to do in Las Vegas if You're Under 21

You can't do many things in Las Vegas if you are under 21. You can't gamble or drink in Sin City. However, this doesn't mean that you must cancel your Vegas trip. There are still many things you can do in Las Vegas. It's actually quite amazing how many things you can do if you're under 21.

Walk the Las Vegas Strip

It's impossible to visit Vegas without visiting the Strip. Las Vegas Boulevard is never dull, especially at night. There are many people you will meet, from street performers to loud partygoers. You can also walk through casinos, provided you don't stop at any tables or slot machines.

Remember that the Strip is quite long and takes more than an hour to walk from one end to another. Comfortable shoes are a must if you plan on walking the Las Vegas Strip. 

Eat at a Las Vegas Buffet or Restaurant 

The best thing about Las Vegas is its food. There are many restaurants in Vegas that offer all types of food, including pizza, sushi, Mexican, and Italian as well as Thai and American cuisines.

Each major hotel offers a delicious all-you-can-eat buffet too. You don't need to stay at the hotel, to dine at a resort's buffer. Personally, I prefer the Bellagio and Wynn buffets.

Visit a Water Park or Hotel Pool

Las Vegas is hot. The daytime temperature in Las Vegas can reach 110 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer. So it's always a good idea to go swimming.

Although many of the resort pools are great, you're not limited to them. You can find over a dozen water parks throughout the city. Cowabunga Bay is my favorite, as they offer the most rides. They are only 20 minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip.

Mandalay Bay's pool is another great option. They have a huge lazy river and a wave pool right on the Strip. For hotel guests, it's free. But for non-guests, it's $20.

Spend the Day at the Spa

Spas are my favorite way to unwind and recharge after a long day. Each major resort on the Strip offers a spa, with discounts for hotel guests.

Many spas offer all-inclusive services such as facials, waxing, and massages. Personally, I just choose the massage and then head to the jacuzzi or steam room. The spa experience is memorable and you will feel a million times better afterward.

See a Show on the Las Vegas Strip

Las Vegas has too many shows to list them all. You'll find billboards everywhere you go from the moment your plane touches down. Most shows do not have a minimum age for guests younger than 21.

There are many types of shows, from Cirque du Soleil to magic and comedy clubs. I recommend you find the one that interests you the most.

Las Vegas Attractions

If you don't travel to Sin City often, you might not know about all of the attractions that Vegas has to offer. I decided to compile a comprehensive list of all the things you can do in Las Vegas.

You'll never be bored in the city that never sleeps. Spas, Topgolf, and indoor skydiving are some of the most popular attractions. Other options include shopping, exotic car races, helicopter tours, nightclubs,  pool parties, and live shows. 

Free Activities in Las Vegas

There are many free activities in Vegas that you can do if you have a limited budget. You can still visit the Bellagio Fountains or Las Vegas Sign, and you don't have to pay anything. It is free to visit the Fremont Street Experience or walk the Strip.

There are many free shows in Las Vegas. You can find them at the Mirage with the Volcano, Circus Circus Circus with the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat and at the Lake of Dreams at Wynn. There are also the Botanical Gardens at Bellagio and downtown Art Murals.

Things to do with Kids in Las Vegas

There are many family-friendly activities in Las Vegas, even if you're traveling with children. Water parks, go-karts, and roller coasters are some of the family-friendly attractions. You should also visit the Circus Circus Adventuredome and High Roller Observation Wheel as well as Shark Reef Aquarium and Pinball Hall of Fame.

A family tour of the Hoover Dam or Grand Canyon is also possible. Plus, don't forget to take a dip in the hotel pool before you leave the resort.

Things to Do on the Las Vegas Strip

There are many things to do on the Las Vegas Strip. However, the majority of the action is right here on Las Vegas Boulevard. Las Vegas offers many options, including the chance to try your luck at one of its famous casinos or attending a concert featuring your favorite musicians. You also can bar hop on the Strip.

Each of the casinos and hotels has its own entertainment. Nightclubs, pool parties, exhibits, and amusement parks all make up this entertainment. This is true for all the resorts along Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas. 

Shows in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is well-known for its show business. You'll find there is a show for everyone once you arrive in Vegas. There are many types of shows: live music performances, festivals, and acrobatic shows like Le Reve and Cirque du Soleil.

Las Vegas hosts a lot of sporting events too, including UFC, NHL, NFL, NHL and NBA Summer League. Las Vegas hosts many conventions as well. Some include the Olympic Fitness and Performance Expo and DEF CON.

Las Vegas is more than a tourist destination. Many local residents call Vegas home. The Las Vegas metro area is home to over 2 million people. So what do Vegas residents do for entertainment? 

Las Vegas is home to many thrilling activities. Hiking is one of the most popular activities. You can hike in a variety of places within an hour of Las Vegas including Red Rock Canyon and the Valley of Fire State Park. These parks are popular for RVing and camping. Lake Mead is also a great spot to visit. You can go fishing, boating, or even jet skiing at the lake.
